Dates and Hours of Operation:
- The pool is scheduled to be open May 1, 2021 and close September 30, 2021.
- The pool hours of operation are 7:00am until 8:00pm daily.
General Information:
- Due to COVID-19 a waiver must be signed by each homeowner listing all household members prior to entering the pool. Due to COVID-19 guests are not permitted to utilize the pool. Confirmation of residency may be requested.
- The health and safety of the homeowners is ultimately their own responsibility. The Ebenezer Village Homeowners Association (EVHA) assumes no responsibility for damages, accidents, injuries or for any loss of or damage to personal property. Swim at your own RISK!
- The pool opens and closes yearly at the discretion of the EVHA official board.
- The pool may occasionally be temporarily closed for maintenance, cleaning or to adjust chemical levels, severe weather or operational breakdown.
- Admittance to the pool facilities is reserved for homeowners in good standing.
- Proper swim attire is always required. Street clothes, including cut off shorts are not permitted in the pool.
- Excessive noise is not permitted.
- No music with obscenities or content that would be considered PG13 (or more adult) is allowed.
- Limited parking is provided for homeowners who drive to the pool.
- Bicycles, Skateboards, Roller Skates/Blades, Scooters and other similar recreational equipment are not to be ridden in the pool swimming or sitting area. Please store these items neatly in front of the bathroom area, without blocking a pathway to enter or exit the pool area safely.
- The pool cannot be reserved for private events. All homeowners must have equal access to the pool during hours of operation.
- A homeowner is allowed to bring four guests with them to the pool area. Homeowners must be present at all times with guests.
- Homeowners are not allowed to lend their key cards to non-residents.
The EVHA Board of Directors has the authority, when deemed necessary, to expel guests from the pool facilities or revoke access to the amenities at anytime for misbehavior, use of abusive or aggressive language, intoxication or dangerous behavior towards others.
- The HOA considers the breaking of any pool rule misbehavior.
- The HOA reserves the right to issue warnings, issue fines, and revoke access for either limited or extended periods of time due to misbehavior.
- The HOA considers obscenities to be “abusive or aggressive language.”
- Such behaviors as fighting, throwing chairs into the pool, or damaging property in any way will automatically result in revoked access for the rest of the season and could additionally incur a fine.
- In any way entering the gated pool area outside of the stated pool hours will automatically result in revoked access for the rest of the season and could additionally incur a fine.
General Safety:
- Please allow social distancing between all pool users.
- Glass (bottles, cups, plates, etc.) is strictly prohibited.
- No running, jumping, pushing, wrestling or horseplay that creates an unsafe environment or interferes with the relaxed enjoyment of the pool for others.
- No diving or flipping into the pool is permitted.
- Intoxicated behavior of any kind will not be tolerated. Persons displaying intoxicated, physical or verbal aggressive behavior required to leave the premises and are subject to suspension of pool privileges.
- There is no sitting or congregating in the area next to the entrance gate or the restroom entrances (the shaded area). These entrances/exits must remain unobstructed at all times. We do have a security camera covering this area.
- Do not open the gate for anyone, even if they say they’ve left their key card at home or if you know that they are a resident (or a resident’s child). If any person does not possess a working key card, they are not to enter the pool.
- Do not ask a resident to open the gate for you. If you do not possess a working key card, you may not enter the pool area.
- Children under the age of (14) must always be accompanied by their parent, legal guardian or another homeowner.
- Children of a homeowner ages 14-18 are allowed to bring one guest (no more) with them to the pool without the homeowner present, as the HOA does not want anyone to swim alone due to safety.
- The supervising adult must remain present within the pool area of the child(ren) and is personally responsible for the child(ren) and agrees to release and indemnify the EVHA and all homeowners from any claims, losses or injuries arising from use of the pool facilities by any person less than 14 years of age for whom they are responsible.
Health, Hygiene and Cleanliness:
- Due to COVID-19 only one family group should occupy the restroom at one time.
- Please Shower prior to entering the pool.
- No smoking or vaping in or around the pool, cabana, or playground. (This includes the sidewalk in front of the gate).
- All trash should be placed in the provided receptacles by all homeowners.
- Babies, small children in diapers or children who are not 100% potty-trained, are only permitted in the pool with swim diapers and rubber pants over the swim diaper. (Disposable diapers are not permitted in the pool).
- No food or drinks permitted in the pool water. Food items are only allowed in the pool deck area.
- No pets are permitted within the gated pool area.
All POOL VIOLATIONS OR CONCERNS SHOULD BE REPORTED TO CUSICK MANAGEMENT AT 704-544-7779. In case of emergency please call the Police at 803-329-7200.
